final contents page creation process

The first stage involved creating a black strip to place at the top of the page and then the white masthead on top of it so that it stands out to the reader and therefore is the first thing the reader looks at on the page.
The second stage was adding the min image. Which was of Rico who is also the main cover line on the contents page, this is important as makes everything relevant in my magazine. To edit this i used photo shop to enhance the lighting of the photo and therefore makes the contents page lighter, this is important as it can be easy for magazines to look dull with having the colour dark so much but by making my magazine as a whole lighter gives gives a more positive tone to the magazine which i said i was going to do in my target audience post as i wanted to challenge stereotypes of having no hop. However by having a lighter magazine symbolises hope so therefore challenges the stereotypes.

I then added the main cover line which was about Rico. In the whole block of text i have used different size fonts for different reasons. The first reason was that "Rico" is more important as thats what the article is about and so should be in a bigger size font to stand out o the reader. The second reason was that all the text fit into one block which makes it look more professional and shows time spent on the creation of the magazine.

In the fourth step i added boarders which text on the magazine fits into, this is important as it separates text so readers are less likely to read text that they do not want to read. The second thing i added in this step was adding the editors section of text, which highlights pages in the magazine that readers may want to read.
