House Style

I want my font for my masthead to be bold so that it stands out on a page and therefore makes it the first thing the reader will look at on the page. The fonts I could use are fonts like agent orange which I used for my school magazine and was effective. However for my main text I will not use a bold font but I still want the reader to see that it is there. I will do this by using a font that is clear so that the reader can read it easy and a the text colour to be opposite to the background so it stands out. The colours I will use are dark colours as grime magazines like rwd use dark backgrounds to convey the dangerous stereotypical image of a grime artist. The choices I have made for my fonts and colours do not match my brand identity as I wanted to challenge the negative stereotypes of people associated to do with grime music, however I will still do this by the text I will use. This includes the stories I will include and how I word my starbursts and cover lines.
